I think I've done enough work to say that I'm finally half way done my huge game project Straight Bullyism! I've been working on SB for the last 2 weeks, after finishing CM #7, and I plan on working full speed on it for at least another 2 weeks before I get back into Coozy McMillan (which I have the next 3 scripts for).
I'm finally starting to feel pretty much at home in my new place (I'll get more recent pictures up), and doing Snubby Land as a full-time job is great. My only regret is that I was already working on a HUGE project (Straight Bullyism) when I moved out, so I have it hanging over my head and stressing me out until it's done, months from now, when it could either get really popular or be a huge waste of time.
I would much rather be making less ambitious games and releasing things more often. I could be making a new cartoon every week (or something like that) instead of doing this. However, I do not regret starting Coozy McMillan, I feel it's going to be a very good web comic over time, even though the first few suck.
Another stress I have is that even though the first half of developement is usually a lot easier than the second, that doesn't really apply to a huge project like this where at any time if the file gets too big and I can't work on it without mega lag I'm kind of screwed, or the sounds could become all glitchy because that's what happens with big Flash files. If I couldn't get the sounds work or Flash couldn't support the game anymore, that'll suck.
Yeah.
