What is Snubby Land?
Snubby Land Creative Media (SnubbyLand.com) is a team of people devoted to entertaining you on the web. Snubby land was founded by Stevie Critoph (AKA Snubby) in 2005. Over several years Stevie built Snubby Land into a business and hired Isaiah Masek-Kelly (AKA Woozle) in 2008 as his partner. You can contact us via email from the Contact page, or email us directly at snubbyland@gmail.com.
We have developed many Flash cartoons and games that have become popular on the Internet, such as The World's Hardest Game and the Duck Luck cartoon series. Stevie had been making Flash cartoons for years, but it's probably because of our less frequently made games that you're reading this today.
The website name 'Snubby Land Creative Media' is derived from an email address Stevie created when he was a kid; snubbywubby@hotmail.com (he doesn't use it anymore, though). The email address was then changed in into the alias of his second Newgrounds account, Snubby (his first Newgrounds alias was GreatFlash). For the record, Stevie had no idea that a 'Snubby' is a type of revolver. When his dad finally agreed to register him a website, he asked Stevie what domain name he wanted as they were doing it. Stevie didn't want to slow down the process by thinking too long, so he just said snubbyland.com! It's really easy to remember and type, and it's got a good ring to it, and we think having such a weird name has helped give the website character. The full name, Snubby Land Creative Media is borrowed from another website that Stevie was a fan of at the time, Psycho Goldfish Creative Media.

Stevie
I've made 32 Cartoons, 12 Games and 5 Websites.
My full name is Stephen Bard Critoph, my friends call me Stevie and on the Internet I'm known as Snubby. I was born in 1991 in a Milton, Ontario, and since have moved to Toronto, Ontario. I created Snubby Land in 2005 when I was 14 without realizing I'd later be doing it as a job; I just wanted a place on the Internet to call my own. I've always been really active and hobby-orineted; my favorite sport is soccer, and some of my hobbies outside of Snubby Land are poker and videogames.
I was always more interested in making funny cartoons than I was in making games. One of my first Flash creations was a cartoon series called Duck Luck, which was inspired by Space Tree. When I got my first game sponsor - Armor Games - I shifted over to making games because there was a lot more money in it. Prior to getting sponsored I would only make mini-game type games, such as these. I also became interested in web design and programming for the web pretty early at about mid-2006. I had redesigned the snubbyland.com website 14 times when I finally reached this current design, and I also made websites for other people (see my portfolio). Web design, like learning to animate or make games, is something I taught myself.
Socially, I was never really a shut-in or really popular; I've always been kind of in the middle until about mid-grade 11. When I started smoking weed is really when I started having fun in life, making more friends/girlfriends and spending less time doing Flash. Marijuana is also a very heavy influence on my later Flash work; I pretty much always work while I'm piffed. I can program websites or games, or make complex animations while stoned.
My long-time best friend Isaiah was also interested in Flash but felt like he didn't have an optimal enviornment to work like I did. In 2008 I decided to take a risk and 'sponsor' Isaiah, meaning I bought him a laptop, a legitimate version of Flash, and paid for whatever he needed when he was around me (including a mountain of dank). The agreement was that in exchange for all that I gave him for free, he'd try to slot in close-to or equal work hours to mine, working on things that contributed to Snubby Land. Becoming pro at Flash isn't as easy as it looks though, and so far he hasn't really stepped up to the plate, but there's still some time. We plan to be roommates after highschool whether or not he gets into Flash.
Under Construction - Just after the first term of grade 12 I somehow got Mono (I didn't catch it from any of my friends, though), which has basically given me the opportunity to stay at home all day and work on Flash (when I'm not sleeping or too sick). The doctor estimated that I will be missing months of school, so I think I'll probably drop out of highschool after I recover; I can't pass if I've missed that much school. However, I've only been sick since January 12 so there's no telling what can happen.

Isaiah
I've made 8 Cartoons.
My full name is Isaiah Masek-Kelly, and on the Internet I'm known as Woozle. I was born in 1991 in Toronto, Ontario. My favorite sports are soccer, hockey, and ultimate frisbee (I play in the national league). I also enjoy to play poker on occasion.
Under Contstruction - Stevie sponsored me in 2008 and bought me everything I needed to become a part of the Snubby Land team, however I haven't released very much content since then, except for a few things. I hope to do more Flash and become a full partner, but I find school and my parents are also obstacles in my way.

Sponsors and Friends
Sponsors:
The following is a list of our game sponsors. They pay us money for the right to brand their logo (and other links) into our games. These sponsors are where most of our money comes from, so they're very helpful!
Addicting Games (addictinggames.com)
Zip Lehnus and Addicting Games have helped Snubby Land very much. Zip is a representative of Addicting Games who approached me with the idea of making The World's Hardest Game 2 (which they sponsored). Addicting Games also was the top promoter of the original World's Hardest Game; check out how many hits they gave me (it shows the hits beside the description under the game)! Zip was nice enough to help me out in numerous other ways that I can't mention, and they even sent me a huge developer bonus months after the game was made and paid for. What an awesome sponsor!
Armor Games (armorgames.com)
Daniel McNeely of Armor Games had sponsored many of our games, which has helped the website get off the ground. They have sponsored Guess the Price (however it never made it onto their website), The World's Hardest Game (their copy), and SUPERTANK (their copy). I originally approached Daniel (because he was the most popular sponsor at the time, and still is) about sponsoring Hurry Bird 2, but he wasn't interested. However, when I pitched him the idea of Guess the Price he decided to throw me a bone, and it became my very first sponsored game. It was his generosity there that helped me get more sponsorships in the future. Thanks, Armor Games!
Apart from our game sponsors, here are any other parties that pay us money and help keep the site running.
Google AdSense (google.com/adsense)
Google Adsense has helped the site for years by paying us per click for the ads of their's that we've embedded on our site; there's one under the header, at the bottom of the sidebar and at the top of the footer. We also have an ad in most of our popup windows. Google sends us a cheque every month, and despite them always being late, giving us less-than-fair rates sometimes, or forgetting to send a cheque from time to time, the money they pay us helps out a LOT.
Friends:
The following is a list of the websites and people that have helped Snubby Land over the years.
Newgrounds (newgrounds.com)
Newgrounds is the home of Flash. I would always strive to win the awards on their website, which helped me hone my skills. Tom Fulp (owner of Newgrounds) has also personally helped Snubby Land become more popular by putting our content on the front page of their website from time to time, which always brings in a fair amount of hits. They were also nice enough to give me my own Duck Luck Collection, which helped the series get more fans and acknowledgement. I hope that one day they can sponsor me as well.
Ansel Lies (ansel.newgrounds.com)
Ansel is a really talented artist that I've worked with on a few projects. He was the artist who worked with me on SUPERTANK and he competed in the Stick Animation Contest. He's a really cool guy, and you'll be seeing more of him and I partnering up in the future.
SweetSkater (spamtheweb.com)
I've known SweetSkater over the Internet for quite a long time, and he's worked with me and supported Snubby Land. We partnered up for the game Halloween Tricks, and he also competed in the Stick Animation Contest.
Mexifry895 (mexifry895.newgrounds.com)
Mexifry895 is a huge fan, contributor and supporter of Snubby Land. He created the music that was used in The World's Hardest Game 2, he was a moderator on the old Snubby Land forums, and he's been pretty helpful and positive all the time we've known him.
Thomas MacDonald (tommac.newgrounds.com)
Thomas (AKA Tommac) of OO Designs is a great artist and long-time fan of Snubby Land; he's been around for years. I worked with him on Guess the Price which he contributed some additional art to.
Penboy (zaconfire.com)
Penboy is a pretty cool guy, we worked together on CARNAGE! and he's been in a few of the places I've been on the Internet.
